This framework practices the low-key composition of grey to black using toys as the subjects. Firstly, I set up a black backdrop to create a dark background. Secondly, the artificial light source is right above the subjects in order for the light to hit on them directly, rather than in the background. Then, the ISO is set low to create a more dramatic effect and hard-hitting emotions, bringing the stuffed toys to life. By lowering the exposure and creating more shadows, the details are concealed and revealed creatively. The composition of the toys is also specifically arranged as if they are taking a family portrait.
