The photo focus on a shelf at home, which stores and displays a collection of many objects on it. It is not only keeping the objects, but also holding personal memory in each item, and as time goes by, the shelf is almost fully filled. Due to its placement, the shelf is often ignored when sitting on the sofa, however, it always reminds me of the stories and people related to the items when looking at them. Just like how we are stepping into the next phase of life, and if look back, there are people who love and support us.
Originally, I was going to frame the scene from a further and higher angle to capture more items. While I was taking this photo, a lower and closer shot is found better, as it creates more sensations of coziness, and zooming in into more details in the collection.
