Storer (After August Sander’s “Master Mason”)

For homework, I decided to reference August Sander’s “Master Mason” (1926). Because I often do not have a lot of time, I wanted to challenge myself and see what I could quickly create with the objects I have in my rental. This quick picture takes place in a small storage room where the towers of boxes aren’t exactly stacked neatly, but are on the messier side to show the (unfortunate) state of a room shared between 4 people. The subject is holding a box, to potentially be placed on the tower to his left and complete the stack to be shoulder height on both sides. It differs from my original sketch as both the subject is not myself, and I originally had no intention of having the subject holding a box, but felt it would be more appropriate as a way to engage in this photo.
