Girl with a Pearl Earring is an oil painting by Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer in 1665. I invited my girlfriend to dress and perform a similar look to the girl in the painting. For this framework exercise, I attempt to mimic and emphasize the eye contact and the brilliant lighting capture, with a nice touch of sublime created by the pearl. There still are differences in the lighting condition, facial expression, and obviously clothes.
