Framework #2

Upon her arrival

August Sander, The Architects Wife, 1926

I shot this on a Canon EOS Rebel T5 in the Daniels Commons, which was very dark. They only had spotlights. I originally edited out the noise in the image, but since it’s being viewed at a smaller size, and since it does provide information, I decided to leave it in. We now have access to technology that Sander didn’t have during his time. I assume that he took this photo on film. I notice that the woman’s hand is in an interesting pose, perhaps I should have posed a hand as well. I usually work with colour images, but working with B&W made me better appreciate the details. B&W images also seem to give off more emotion and have a certain sensibility to them.
