Framework 5: Low Key

I like this photo because it remind me of what Victor Burgen says in Looking at Photographs, “Through the agency of the frame the world is organised into a coherence which it actually lacks, into a parade of tableaux, a succession of ‘decisive moments.” It is true that how I frame the photograph makes it a decisive moment of my life.

Also, the idea of framework 4 and 5 is to explore different kinds of B&W photos. In the past, the differences can be made by using different kinds of B&W films or employing special processing or printing skills. Though we can now make it in photoshop, we still need sharp eyes to identify different shades of greyscale.
