Framework 4: High Key

the empty Pudong International Airport

I took this photo in September 17, 2021, the day I left for Toronto, and processed it this weekend. I remember that when I took the photo, I felt overwhelmed by the emptiness of the space. The space was designed to room huge number of tourists, but now, there was no one walking in the space except some scattered passengers of my flight, the only international flight at that time. It was like all the human beings suddenly vanish from the world, which trigger an unsettling feeling. I keep thinking of Atget’s Paris while editing the image.
