Framework 7: Interior Space of Interest

This work portrays my personal comfort zone at my home, and my interior space of interest: the kitchen. Always being someone who enjoyed cooking, I naturally came to be interested in the components that build up the bigger kitchen as well. Coming to a new home where I found there was a balance of whiles and dark woods, I strived to add little additions of color and play alongside silver tones to go along the metal structures within the space.

There definitely was a struggle with the way lighting worked within the home because I wanted to capture an image only through natural light. However, with the white tones in the house, I was not satisfied with how the kitchen space looked like it had no personality or color. With a few trial and error, I found taking photographs during the golden hour was an opportunity to add warmer tones to go alongside minimalistic components in the kitchen, allowing the space to feel more at home.
