By recreating a virtual painting of the ancient classical artwork, the Creation of Adam, this experiment explores the relationship between the digital simulation and the physical world. Through photoshop, collage, and appropriation from images on the internet, the photographs were manipulated and transformed from mere documentation of reality into virtual realities. The fantastical and surreal display of the ancient classical artwork raises the questions: What am I? Where am I? Am I living in a simulation of reality?
